RAMONA GASTL

Biography:

 

Ramona Gastl was born in 1991 in Augsburg and have studied Photojournalism and Documentary photography at Hochschule Hannover since 2012.

 

In her work she deals with issues like inclusion and integration, with special and positive projects and people, that fascinates her. Personal development is an important part out of that.

 

Her pictures about the Grandhotel Cosmopolis were published in Die Zeit in 2014. At Arte Future you can see her first multimedia reportage 'Die Mensch Maschine', that was made together with 2470media from Berlin and Philipp Hannappel. She go the 1st Prize - Medienpreis All Inclusive 2015 SoVD-Niedersachen for the Film 'Parallelwelt' together with Max Kesberger. At last her film ILLUSIA has been exhibited at the Lumix Festival for Young Photojournalism in Hannover as well as her work about the Grandhotel Cosmopolis and her first film 'Die Mensch Maschine'.

She published her Project Grandhotel Cosmopolis in a photo book 'Grandhotel Cosmopolis - Verbindung Vertrauen Vision' recently. In August she starts to travel for ten month to follow

a new project.
